3. The Duct Vents Have Mold/Mildew

An obvious sign that there is mildew or mold in the HVAC system is that the ducts have it on them. Examine the vents in your house. Open up the grates and take out the air filters. Then look at them to see if there’s anything there. if you are noticing spores on the vents, chances are it’s through your system.
