Three Reasons to Maintain Your Relationship with Your Pool Builder
If you’ve decided to add a swimming pool to your backyard or commercial facility, you may be excited about the prospects of working with your pool builder. Not only do you get to choose an exciting design, but you’ll also get to see your pool builder bring your new pool to life. So, once your pool construction is done, you can toss their business card, right?
Here are a few reasons you’ll want to maintain your relationship with your pool builder:
- Something Goes Wrong. While you hope this never happens, if you’ve got a brand-new pool and something isn’t working properly, your pool builder may be the first person you think of to call. They should be able to troubleshoot any initial concerns and give you confidence that your swimming pool is safe for use.
- You Need a Repair. Over time, your swimming pool may have a need for a repair. Having a great relationship with your pool builder will allow you to make a simple call. Especially if your pool is still under warranty, you may be able to get pool repairs for free or at a reasonable discount.
- You’re Looking for Additional Services. Most pool builders also provide additional services or can direct you to a company that will offer support for pool maintenance. Keeping in touch with your pool builder will foster this relationship and the other companies that will serve you well for the life of your pool.
While it may seem counterintuitive to keep up with your pool builder, don’t toss that business card just yet. Keep their number handy, and make sure you can give them a call when you need to!
